VietJet doubles frequency between BKK and HCMC
VietJet has announced plans to increase the frequency of its international route linking Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok.
As of 12 September, the budget carrier will add an extra daily round trip to meet growing demand for low-cost air travel between the two South East Asian hubs.
The new schedule will now see VietJet flights depart Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City at 1105 and 1405.
Coming in the other direction, flights will depart Bangkok every day at 1350 and 1635. The flight duration is just 90 minutes.
In a further development, VietJet will take delivery of new Airbus jets to its fleet this September. The airline currently operates 27 domestic and international routes with a fleet of 15 Airbus aircraft.
